Due to the tremendous response from the first two free webinars on Anatomy of a Design – The Missing Piece, we’ve added two more sessions:
- Monday, August 24 – 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm (Pacific Time / Arizona Mountain Time)
- Tuesday, August 25 – 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm (Pacific Time / Arizona Mountain Time)
These webinars are provided through embroidery.com’s E-Classes and are open to E-Club members as well as non-members. You will need to set up an account at embroidery.com and this is also totally free.
What If I Can’t Attend at Those Times?
We have attendees from around the world so it’s impossible to select a time that works for everyone. The good news here is that these webinars are recorded so once it is posted, you can watch it at a time that is convenient for you.
Who Should Attend
You’ll get the most benefit from this session if you’ve been embroidering for a few months or more and you use embroidery software. What kind of software? Any program that will let you look at the design. Even if you currently only use software to catalog, convert, color, or resize come join us and see why you might want to add a few more tools to your embroidery arsenal.
What’s Covered?
I spend the bulk of the hour showing you how I look at designs in my software. If you have a program that provides a measuring tool and you can watch a design “sew” on screen, you can do exactly what I demonstrate. I guarantee you’ll never look at a design the same way again. You will have a new-found appreciation for a well-digitized design and you’ll be able to weed out poor performers from your stash.
A Sneak Peak inside Anatomy of a Design
Because this session is an actually a live application of the principles in my new ebook, Anatomy of a Design: How to Think Like a Digitizer & Become a Better Embroiderer, I’ll show you where to find some of this info in the book. It’s tough to buy a book when you can flip through it a bit so while we don’t spend a lot of time in the book, you’ll certainly get a better feel of what’s in it, especially if you’ve had a look through the free sample chapter that you can download.

How to I Get the Webinar
- First of all, you need to register at embroidery.com. If you don’t have an account there, you will need to set one up. It’s totally free and you don’t need to supply any credit card information until you purchase something.
- Select the E-Class you want to attend and register.
- You will get an email confirmation and a reminder the day of the event. I always add it to my i-Cal and set it to remind me.
- About 5 minutes before the webinar starts, click the link in the email and follow any instructions that GoToWebinar displays.
- Then sit back and enjoy. You may want to have a notepad to take some notes or write down any question you may have.
