Special Invitation Anatomy of Design Missing Piece Webinar

I would like to invite you to a free E-Class that I’m teaching this week. In this class we will be exploring the often overlooked piece of the quality puzzle … the design itself. This topic coincides with my new E-Book “The Anatomy of a Design

Are you interested in getting better embroidery? Do you sometimes suspect it doesn’t matter what you do with a particular design you won’t get good results? Well, you may be right!

Come join us for this free session on Anatomy of A Design during which we’ll look at a design through digitizer’s eyes. While I mentioned the “d” word, this class is intended for Embroiderers.

This E-Class is open to all, whether or not you are a member of EClub. If you are an EClub member, you will get a free design just for registering for the class. I do hope you’ll attend the class though because I really think the more you know about designs as part of the whole embroidery process, the better results you can get on a regular basis.

In this session you will discover:

  • How to watch a design sew without ever turning on your machine
  • How to check a design for sewing efficiency
  • How to look for excessive jumps or color changes
  • Why adding more density doesn’t always improve fabric coverage
  • How design factors impact fabric and stabilizer choices
  • The importance of underlay

You’ll also get a sneak peak into my new Ebook book, Anatomy of a Design: How to Think Like a Digitizer and Become a Better Embroiderer. If you chose to buy the book, in addition to the designs that are available to book owners, when you buy through embroidery.com you will also get access to an additional bonus session “Beyond the Basics”.

Be sure to mark your calendars and sign up early. There are a limited number of spaces and you’ll want to attend the live session so you can ask questions. Of course, it will be recorded so you can watch it again—I’m told I talk too fast and cover too much material!

And that’s a major reason I wrote the accompanying book. The PDF is 106 pages and includes lots of illustrations plus some interactive movies and links to other content.

So come join us for some late summer education and be ready to start all those holiday projects!

Sincerely,
Lindee Goodall & the Staff at Embroidery.com
