Design Origin

Design Origin—The starting point of the design- the position of the pantograph when the Start button is first pressed.

The starting point of the design—the position of the pantograph when the Start button is first pressed. For most designs. the origin is the center of the design. In most of my designs, I set a “Home” command as the first and last step in the design.  I make sure that the Home position is set to the center of the design and as a last step I make sure the design is centered in the hoop.

Embroidery Tip

  • Check thread colors in natural light. Fluorescent lights can significantly change the appearance of colors.
