Chain Stitch

Stitch that resembles a chain link, formed with one thread fed from the bottom side of the fabric. Chain stitches are created by special machines and are not normal in embroidery.

Embroidery Tip

  • Metallic threads are not recommended for very small letters (under 6mm) or for complex letters with tiny ornaments (Old English,for example) or with very thin strokes (smaller scripts and serifs).
